The Green RV brand was first launched at a Gympie dealership by Carl Green in 2010. The location right on the Bruce highway was not only a great location but had a huge capacity to offer any potential buyer lots of choice, given the size of the yard and number of vans offered.

As the caravan industry grew, Carl knew he had to expand. In 2014 he opened a second yard in Clontarf and the yard went from strength to strength. As the yard grew quickly, he needed to spread some of the workload and promoted his son Jack to the position of Sales Manager.

After a successful period, Jack was further promoted to General Manager of the Clontarf dealership. Under Jacks’s helm, the business saw further growth and they both knew more changes were needed to maintain this growth.

Moving forward a couple of years and as the caravan industry continued to grow, the Green Family made the brave decision to open a mega caravan centre, now housed at Forest Glen. The dealership officially opened in 2017 and is a massive 5 acres of caravans. A large number of both new and second-hand caravans are available at the Forest Glen dealership.

Since opening the Forest Glen site, the decision was made to close the Clontarf dealership and focus all their energy on the new site and offer real choices with great service to potential buyers all from one great location.

The NextGen brand is just one of three brands currently being sold at Green RV. They also have the award-winning Regent and Snowy River Caravans.

I recently went out to visit the Green RV team and explore their range at the Forest Glen site.

While walking around the yard it can be hard to choose a particular brand and model, given there is just so much choice. I started looking at the caravans externally and was particularly drawn to the NextGen Blackline Series.

This is the flagship model from the NextGen range. What drew me to the Blackline was the fantastic variety they have with this particular caravan and the strong visual appeal. It is very easy to see there has been a lot of thought put into this caravan from both a construction and aesthetic perspective.

In chatting with Joanna (GM for the dealership) and Brandan (Sales Manager), they were both excited to share what great value these vans represent and the number of extras that are included.

I could go on and on about all the inclusions and the choices you have available. From the single axle to the dual axle, different options with construction, and of course the unlimited choices with the internal.

It’s easy to see the quality of construction and the attention to detail in the final build. Brandan says that each and every van has a quality inspection carried out when they first land in the dealership, so they are all presented 100% ready to hit the road.
